We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with experience in cloud infrastructure & distributed systems to join our Capacity & Cloud Economics Engineering team. Our work involves building scalable, cost-effective, resilient, and secure infrastructure globally, including developing load-testing frameworks, capacity models, and optimizing costs.

What You'll Do

• Own and deliver quarterly goals, lead engineers through ambiguity, and support delivery.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics in the product development lifecycle.
• Identify and lead solutions for project, process, technology, or business issues.
• Support operations by creating and monitoring metrics, and managing on-call efforts.
• Promote quality and ownership through code review standards and tech talks.
• Develop talent through feedback and leading by example.
• Assist in right-sizing compute and data workloads for high availability and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with other teams on capacity tuning and performance testing.

What We Look For

• 4+ years of experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale using Python or Kotlin.
• Experience with distributed systems using AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with load testing frameworks like Locust.
