Job Description

Live Assets | IT Staffing Solutions is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer (AWS) for its client. The Senior Software Developer determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Reviews the current technology landscape, conducts analysis, and develops documentation.
2. Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.
3. Conducts code review.
4. Builds and maintains infrastructure for various projects.
5. Develops test cases working closely with BU, IT stakeholders, and vendors.
6. Supports development testing and conducts QA testing, working closely with other developers and vendors.
7. Develops DevOps processes and coaches peers to ensure best practices are maintained across all projects.

Necessary Skills

• Experience with building APIs and services using REST, SOAP, etc.
• 7+ years of experience in solutioning and developing digital assets such as digital apps and e-commerce websites.
• 7+ years of experience working in an Agile environment, well-versed in CI/CD and DevOps methodologies.
• Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with infrastructure automation technologies.
• Experience with build automation technologies.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages.
• Strong coding and development knowledge in web and app development, middleware, web and app infrastructure, and security.
• 5+ years of experience in AWS Cloud environment stack.
• 5+ years of experience with NCR Aloha for QSR.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
