We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer for AvaCloud, remotely from North America. As a Senior Software Engineer on the AvaCloud team, you will develop and deliver distributed, scalable backend systems supporting Web3 applications. You will collaborate with infrastructure and frontend teams to build cloud-based applications and APIs for multi-tenant services. This role involves working with cutting-edge blockchain technology, contributing to Web3 solutions on the Avalanche platform.

Accountabilities:

• Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems for Web3 applications on an Avalanche Subnet.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to deploy cloud applications in a multi-tenant environment.
• Partner with frontend developers to build web applications from scratch.
• Work with product teams to implement features and integrate blockchain applications like Avalanche Explorer and Core Wallets.
• Build and maintain distributed, scalable APIs to support AvaCloud.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• 3+ years of experience with large-scale enterprise systems.
• Proficiency with Golang; experience with Typescript/Node.js is a plus.
• Strong experience with AWS services (DynamoDB, KMS, SQS, Lambda, etc.).
• Proven ability to deliver and scale B2B software solutions.
• Passion for blockchain/Web3 and industry developments.
