Thales an Imperva Company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team to assist in developing Imperva's fast growing Account Takeover Protection and Client-Side Protection SAAS offerings.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Take an active role in developing a near real-time system capable of processing large volumes of events across the world
• Solve challenging problems in terms of scalability, reliability and performance for SaaS products used by millions of users worldwide.
• Engage in development of an enterprise-level AWS based distributed SAAS solutions
• Lead a project from requirements to completion, through design, implementation & testing
• Utilize cloud technologies and modern programming and deployment practices
• Set the standards for the best practices and code quality
• Collaborate, demo and share your work with team members, product managers and stakeholders
• Take ownership of new technologies that would improve our products and infrastructure
  
  

Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years of programming experience in Java, JavaScript, Python or RUST
• Strong understanding of software development fundamentals
• Experience with cloud-based software (preferably AWS) and microservice-based architecture
• Experience with designing and developing highly scalable SAAS systems
• Experience working with data analysis using distributed SQL/NoSQL DBs systems

The anticipated TTC range for this position is CAD $ 102,823.25 - 155,000.00 CAD Annual. The salary offered will be determined based on the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, other qualifications, and location.
