Job summary

TRAFFIX is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain backend services and web applications. You will collaborate with Tech Leads, Product, QA, and DevOps to deliver reliable, scalable systems and own features end-to-end.

You’ll own features from design through deployment and support, and contribute to architectural decisions while improving performance and reliability. This role is ideal for a high-ownership, collaborative engineer with strong backend skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong backend experience with C# / .NET.
• Frontend experience with React.
• Experience building APIs and distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of relational databases (SQL-based).
• Strong system design, debugging, and code review skills.
• A pragmatic mindset - balancing quality, speed and delivery.
• Experience with GraphQL, Redis or similar caching, Azure is a plus.
• Exposure to automated testing and CI/CD pipelines; interest in AI-driven tools is a plus.

About the role:

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer who enjoys building reliable, scalable systems and working through complex, real-world challenges. In this role, you’ll work closely with Tech Leads, Product, QA, and DevOps to design, build, and maintain backend services and web applications.

You’ll own features end-to-end, contribute to architectural and system design decisions, and play a key role in improving the reliability, performance, and scalability of our platforms. This role is a great fit for someone who thrives in a high-ownership, collaborative environment and enjoys solving meaningful problems with a pragmatic approach.

The comp. range for this role is: $100,000-$145,000 CAD.
