Your role: As a Senior Software Developer in Test (SDET), you will be part of a small, focused team responsible for delivering scalable and robust services within Global Relay’s platform. You will design testing solutions for web applications and API services, improve automation frameworks, and mentor team members in industry-leading test practices.

Your responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks, infrastructure, and tools.
• Define and automate test cases to verify product requirements.
• Participate in planning, story grooming, and testing activities.
• Support testing efforts to ensure coverage, code quality, and delivery quality.
• Develop shared testing libraries and improve automation processes.
• Mentor team members and conduct code reviews.
• Document automation frameworks, tools, and infrastructure.

About you:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in software testing.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in test development.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Experience with testing in agile environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot log files effectively.
• Experience with frameworks like JUnit, Selenium, WebDriverIO, and API tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.
• Experience with cross-team coordination for integration testing.
• Assets include experience with JMeter, PACT, REST/JSON, big data technologies, and CI systems.

Compensation: The salary range for Vancouver-based employees is CAD 85,000—110,000 annually, determined by experience and skills. Benefits include health coverage, wellness allowances, paid time off, bonuses, RRSP matching, and more.
