As we expand our capabilities, our Growth team seeks a Software Developer passionate about leveraging technology to solve real-world problems. Botpress is open to sponsoring visas for US and Mexican nationals to join us in Canada.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain customer-impacting features or integrations using React & Node.js (Typescript).
2. Hop on calls with people to understand their issues and come up with solutions.
3. Implement and oversee tracking and analytics within the main product to monitor and analyze success metrics.
4. Uphold code quality and ensure continuous improvement through reviews and testing.
5. Produce educational content for our users, written and video (approximately 15% of the time).

Requirements

1. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development or programming in a similar environment. Our go-to stack is Typescript, React.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, and AWS. We encourage candidates to apply even if you only have experience with a portion of our stack.
2. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
3. Independent approach to tasks and projects.
4. Well-organized, excellent work ethic, pays attention to detail, and self-starting.
5. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup and passionate about improving technical abilities.
