As a Senior Software Developer on our Enterprise Analytics Platform team, you’ll help shape the future of financial technology by building ultra-fast, reliable, and scalable systems. Your work will directly support our mission to deliver sub-500 millisecond response times for real-time payment APIs – critical infrastructure for modern financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• In this role, you’ll tackle complex engineering challenges, optimize distributed systems for peak performance, and collaborate with talented peers across engineering and product teams.
• You’ll have the opportunity to experiment with emerging technologies, contribute to cloud-native architecture, and drive meaningful improvements in system resiliency and speed.
• Optimizing performance of distributed systems to meet strict service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Exploring and keeping up to date with new technologies in AWS, Terraform, Java, Python, and cloud architecture.
• Designing and developing scalable, secure, and highly available software solutions.
• Automating and operationalizing service updates and deployments.
• Monitoring system health with innovative tools and metrics.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering and product teams to deliver impactful features.

What We’re Looking For

• A university degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proven ability to enhance system performance and meet demanding service-level objectives.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (especially AWS), infrastructure as code (Terraform), and Python development.
• Proficiency in Java.
• Familiarity with real-time APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with AWS observability tools such as CloudWatch Metrics and X-Ray.
• Ability to design and build systems using AWS.
• Knowledge of database technologies, especially DynamoDB.
• A passion for performance tuning, system reliability, and real-time architecture.
