Position Overview

As a senior software developer on the Admin AMS team, your mission will be to reimagine the way that Forma Admin enables user access controls. We are undergoing a transformation in how access and permissions are modelled and evaluated. You will collaborate on a team of excellent developers to accomplish this mission. In addition to this exciting work, you'll be part of a group that owns the tier 1 core APIs that all ACS products depend on, which encompass some of our most critical data sets at ACS. We have some of the largest reach and impact in the organization. The AMS team is responsible for making access controls as flexible and secure as possible.

This position is to be hybrid based in our offices in Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver.

Responsibilities

Responsabilités

• Rechercher, concevoir, développer et tester des fonctionnalités logicielles et des composants système
• Identifier, diagnostiquer et corriger de manière proactive les bogues, les goulots d'étranglement et autres erreurs système
• Collaborer avec diverses équipes au sur le CSC ?
• Rédiger une documentation technique et de conception claire pour les nouvelles fonctionnalités
• Participer activement aux revues de code et aux pull requests, faire réviser votre propre code par l'équipe et vous améliorer globalement en tant que développeur

Qualifications Minimales

• Licence en informatique, ingénierie ou dans un domaine connexe ; ou expérience équivalente significative
• Au moins 5 ans d'expérience en ingénierie backend et en systèmes distribués
• Au moins 3 ans d'expérience dans le développement de solutions backend utilisant Node.js ou une forte motivation à apprendre
• Maîtrise des bases de données SQL/Postgres
• Solide capacité à concevoir des applications évolutives, disponibles, résilientes et rentables dans le cloud (de préférence AWS). Le candidat doit être capable de choisir la pile technologique et les outils adaptés au problème à résoudre
