The mission of the Application Framework team is to produce a modular, scalable and highly reliable system to serve and support Verily web applications. As a Software Engineer (SWE), you will bring your strong programming skills, technical expertise, design skills and teamwork to delivering the Precision Health Application Framework, enabling our application teams as they build web applications for Verily customers.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the development team, Product Management, and application teams to develop, deliver and support new application services.
- Come up with ideas to technical design problems, compare options, and propose solutions.
- Develop using industry-standard tools including GitHub, Kubernetes, Node.js, TypeScript, Webpack, and Cypress to name a few.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience in software engineering
- At least 5 years experience as a software engineer in an industry setting
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively
- Deep Node and Web Development fundamentals and a solid understanding of microfrontend architecture
- Clear written communication, especially in design and architecture documents
- Ability to facilitate productive discussions across the extended team
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise with NX, pnpm, asset bundlers, and related tools
- Testing experience (BDD, Integration)
- Agile production methods (Jira)
