Fortinet is growing and we are looking to hire a Cloud Software Developer for Video Surveillance solutions to join our team in Ottawa.

At Fortinet, you will be involved in the full development lifecycle of software and product development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for development and learning new technologies.

As a Senior Software Developer, You Will Have

• 5+ years of software development experience in Unix/Linux environment
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience in cloud computing system implementation, such AWS, Azure, GCP, etc
• Experience with IP cameras, streaming protocols, etc
• Experience in C programming, background in TCP/IP networking and multi-threaded programming
• Experience of the administration of virtualization platforms, such as KVM, Xen, VMWare, is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Positive attitude Excellent problem solving and trouble shooting skills
• High motivation to succeed Education
