What You Will Get To Do :

Blue Prism Chorus is moving to the cloud! We are seeking a passionate developer who is eager to revolutionize Chorus and transform it from the solid product it been for years into a modernized product built for future longevity. Those applying will :

• Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and business requirements
• Provide code that enhances software as needed with little direction from others
• Support, maintain, and document software functionality and practices
• Prototype, refine, test and debug programs as needed
• Participate in design meetings and analyze user needs to determine function requirements
• Implement designs by utilizing development languages and tools per design specifications
• Develop and execute unit testing
• Trouble-shoot problems or issues of moderate scope through analysis of multiple data sets or factors
• Recognize and consider dependencies in planning and decision making
• Apply industry best practices for user software development
• Conduct performance tuning to ensure code is scalable and meets performance requirements
• Create and provide input to code specification development
• Identify process improvements and system enhancements and recommend solutions
• Trouble-shoot complex problems or issues through in-depth analysis of variable data sets and factors

What You Will Bring :

• Computer Science / Engineer related Bachelor’s degree; or Master’s degree (recent graduate); or 5 years of equivalent work-related experience
• Experience with source code management systems (e.g. Git)
• Experience with Java, React, .NET or other programing languages.
• Developing and maintaining SaaS applications
• SQL and NoSQL databases.
• A passion for continuous learning as well as the ability to learn quickly and apply new skills
• Able to work with a global team
• Thorough knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle methodologies
• Adheres to software development standards, processes and best practice.
• Good verbal and written communication (English)
• Takes accountability and ownership of deliverables.
• Effective problem solving
• Ability to foster an environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration
• Passion for continuous learning
• Focused on providing high quality deliverable
• Knowledge of Financial Services experience also a plus
