Job summary

Intelcom | Dragonfly in Montreal, QC, is seeking a strategic Software Engineer to lead development, testing, and maintenance of scalable, secure software solutions. You will write high-quality code, document technical details, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust system performance.

On-call duties are compensated separately from base salary. Requires 5+ years in software development, a strong foundation in C#, Python, or Java, cloud services (Azure/AWS), and experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years of software development and systems integration experience.
• Proficient in C#, Python, or Java and modern programming languages.
• Design scalable, secure systems with cloud familiarity.
• Strong SQL Server and NoSQL knowledge (Cosmos DB, Redis).
• Experience with Azure or AWS cloud services.
• Familiar with GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Detail-oriented, security-focused, and collaborative.

Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software development and systems integration.
• Extensive experience in either C#, Python, Java, or other modern programming languages.
• Able to design scalable, maintainable, and secure systems.
• A thorough understanding of cloud architecture and data structures.
• Strong knowledge of relational (SQL Server) and NoSQL (Cosmos DB, Redis) databases.
• Experience with cloud services such as Azure or AWS.
• Familiar with tools like GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Detail-oriented and security-oriented work style.
• Logical, analytical, and creative approach to problem-solving.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Bonus: Knowledge of mobile front end technologies such as Swift, Kotlin, MAUI (.net).
• Bonus: Experience in providing support and troubleshoot issues with tools such as DataDog
