The Home Depot Canada is seeking a Lead Software Developer to own end-to-end software delivery. You will work with Architects to set high-level design choices, standards, and scalable architectures, while mentoring junior developers.

This role also emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with developers, analysts, and QA to ensure robust SAP and non-SAP solutions. You will drive architecture decisions, guide code quality, and help the team deliver features that meet business needs in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Strong backend and frontend collaboration across multiple tech stacks.
• Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities in software teams.
• Experience delivering scalable, resilient SAP and non-SAP solutions.
• Hands-on with Java, Spring Boot, and modern cloud architectures.
• Comfort with Agile/Scrum and code-review practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full SDLC and successful delivery of software solutions.
• Provide technical direction, architecture oversight, and standards.
• Mentor junior developers and lead knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Collaborate with Architects, PMs, BAs, QA to align goals.
• Lead code reviews and ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, tooling, and performance.
