Job summary

Linux User Group seeks an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability of critical services. The role is remote to start, with potential relocation to Calgary or Winnipeg for long-term commitments.

You will work with AWS, Terraform, and modern monitoring tools, leveraging Python and Java as needed to build scalable, resilient systems. Candidates must be located in Canada or hold a Canadian work authorization.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer.
• Strong command of AWS and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Terraform and IaC deployments.
• Proficient in Python; Java is a plus.
• Familiar with monitoring and tracing tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high availability and reliability of services.
• Implement IaC pipelines and deployment automation.
• Collaborate across teams to resolve incidents and improve SRE practices.
