Job summary

BMO Financial Group is seeking a Senior Developer with deep SharePoint and SPFx expertise to lead end-to-end software development, migrations, and integrations within a financial services environment.

The role requires strong knowledge of cloud services, MS 365 tools, and secure, scalable solutions. You will collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality technology solutions aligned with business needs, while adhering to risk and governance standards.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of relevant experience.
• Post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Deep technical knowledge in software development and systems integration.

Responsibilities

• Translate user requirements into technical specifications.
• Analyze, develop, test, implement, and document software solutions.
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and fault resolution of core software components.
• Ensure code and configurations meet security, logging, and performance requirements.
• Follow release management standards and apply version control practices.
• Assist in interpretation and documentation of client requirements.
• Provide specialized consulting, analytical and technical support.
• Work independently and manage non-routine situations.
• Drive process improvements aligned with ITIL guidelines.
