Senior SharePoint Business Systems Analyst to support the migration to and optimization of SharePoint Online and related M365 products

Our client is seeking a Senior SharePoint Business Systems Analyst to support the migration to and optimization of SharePoint Online and related M365 products

Initially a 6-months contract to start with possibilities of additional renewals. Hybrid model in Vancouver 2 days/week on-site (Thursdays included). 35 hours/week.

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years in SharePoint, including SharePoint Online
• SharePoint site configuration, information architecture, and metadata management, develop and manage workflows, site permissions, and content types.
• Proficiency with Power Platform tools: Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Creating data flow diagrams, process mapping, and site architecture.
• Experience with additional M365 products

Key Responsibilities:

• Support planning moving from Extended (legacy document management system) to SharePoint Online
• Design and configure SharePoint Online sites, information architecture, and workflows.
• Advise on best practices for metadata management, site structures, and user permissions.
• Support SharePoint migration initiatives and resolve issues in the existing SharePoint environment.
• Develop, support, and maintain solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into functional configurations.
• Deliver training and ongoing support for end-users and teams using SharePoint Online.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation related to data flows, site design, and business processes.
• Collaborate with the M365 Product Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business needs and IT strategy.
