Your Mission

You’ll be the SEM lead inside a Growth Pod—owning strategy, execution, and performance across Paid Search and Shopping campaigns. From structuring accounts and driving efficiencies to scaling budgets into seven figures, your job is to unlock profitable growth at speed.

You’ll be hands-on: building and optimizing campaigns, running advanced scripts, managing feeds, and troubleshooting tracking. But you’ll also think like a strategist—guiding how SEM fits into the bigger growth picture, mentoring junior teammates, and experimenting with AI-driven tools.

What You’ll Do
  • Own SEM strategy, execution, and performance for high-growth DTC brands
  • Scale campaigns across Google Ads, YouTube, and Shopping to seven figures+
  • Run advanced optimizations : bidding strategies, automation scripts, and feed rules
  • Translate performance data into actionable insights and growth recommendations
  • Troubleshoot tracking, conversion setup, and feed issues
  • Mentor and QA work from junior SEM specialists or ad ops teammates
  • Collaborate with CRO, Paid Social, and CRM teams to align growth efforts
Who We’re Looking For

You’re numerically sharp, technically minded, and already fluent in Google’s performance ecosystem. You may not want a client-facing role—and that’s fine. What matters is that you get deep into tools, build solutions, and become the go-to person for fixing or figuring things out.

You’re not waiting for a playbook. You’ve either already learned the platforms yourself or have a proven track record of picking up complex tools fast. You search for answers before asking for help, test your own solutions, and get things working without needing to be handheld. You’ll be part of a high-output team that values accuracy, speed, and independent thinking.

Your Experience
  • 3–5 years hands-on SEM experience managing high-spend accounts across Google Ads, YouTube, and Shopping, with a proven track record of scaling budgets profitably
  • Deep expertise with Google Ads Editor, Merchant Center, GA4, and Tag Manager—comfortable troubleshooting tracking, conversion setup, and feed issues independently
  • Advanced Google Sheets skills—you build dashboards, performance models, and automated reports that drive decision-making
  • Numerically sharp and technically minded—you thrive on solving complex system problems with logic, testing, and precision
  • Self-directed operator—able to design and execute SEM strategies without waiting for step-by-step guidance
  • Strong written and verbal communicator—able to translate data into clear insights, recommendations, and actions for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience mentoring or QA’ing junior SEM specialists or ad ops teammates, ensuring accuracy and speed without micromanaging
  • Bonus : Skilled with automation scripts, BI platforms, feed management systems, or API integrations to streamline SEM workflows
  • Bonus : Background in math, economics, business, or analytics. Degrees are optional—demonstrated expertise matters more

We set compensation using market data, role scope, and experience to make sure our offers are competitive and fair. For this role, the base salary range is : $90,000 - $100,000 CAD annually. Where you’ll land within the range will depend on your skills, experience, and the impact you bring to the team.
