We are seeking an experienced and results‑oriented security leader to join Bell’s Corporate Security team as Senior Specialist, AI Fabric Security.

Reporting to the Director, Corporate Security, this role will serve as the primary security lead for Bell AI Fabric and will work closely with AI Fabric leadership, Engineering, Construction, and Operations teams to ensure Bell's AI infrastructure is designed, built and operated in accordance with leading practices for critical infrastructure and data centre environments.

The successful candidate will focus on the development, implementation and oversight of physical security, security operations, access governance, security technology and vendor management programs across Bell AI Fabric's portfolio. This role will support the transition of existing facilities while helping ensure new campuses are built securely from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain security standards, policies, and governance frameworks for current and future AI Fabric sites.
  • Support the transition of existing facilities into a standardized security operating model and establish strategic security roadmaps to guide expansion.

  • Define and maintain standards for access control, video surveillance, perimeter protection, intrusion detection, and related physical security technologies.
  • Participate in the design, construction, security design reviews, and commissioning of new AI Fabric facilities to ensure security requirements are integrated from concept through handover.
  • Manage security vendors, guarding providers, monitoring partners, integrators, and service providers, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, service levels, and budgets.
  • Ensure physical security controls align with contractual, regulatory, and industry requirements, while supporting customer audits, security reviews, and corporate investigations.
Critical Qualifications
  • 8–10 years of progressive experience in physical security, critical infrastructure protection, security operations, or security program management.
  • Proven experience supporting data centres, telecommunications infrastructure, cloud environments, utilities, or other mission‑critical facilities.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and managing physical security systems, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and perimeter security technologies.
  • Strong track record of developing and maintaining security standards, operational procedures, governance frameworks, and security programs.
  • Extensive experience managing security vendors, guard force operations, and security technology service providers.
  • Proven experience collaborating with engineering, construction, and operational teams on large‑scale infrastructure and capital projects.
  • Experience supporting security incident response, investigations, and crisis management activities in complex operational environments.
  • Ability to travel regularly across Canada in support of operations, projects, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Currently hold, or be eligible to obtain, a Government of Canada Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), or Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Specialized experience in AI, hyperscale, cloud, or colocation data centre environments.
  • Experience supporting telecommunications facilities or customer‑facing critical facility operations.
  • Experience leading physical security design reviews, system implementation projects, and facility commissioning activities.
