From smart-home technology implementations to enterprise networking, we are now delivering customized home automation solutions and helping our customers experience a truly connected home or business. Qualifications

You're the missing piece of the puzzle with your…

• Previous experience providing exceptional customer service
• You're comfortable with solutions based selling, recommending products to your customers and up-selling TELUS services and products
• You are bondable (a security clearance and criminal record check is required)
• Clean and valid Class 5 Driver's License without GDL or restrictions - or other provincial equivalent, a driver’s abstract will be required
• Normal colour vision which is required to work with color-coded wiring
• You can handle a physically demanding workload which includes heavy lifting, crawling in confined spaces and working in all weather conditions
• You are comfortable working at heights, climbing ladders along with working on man lifts and scissor lifts
• Flexibility to work various shifts : days, evenings, weekends, statutory holidays, to meet business needs
• Willingness to support our customers in various areas in BC / AB when needed
• Fluency in English, with proven professional oral and written communications skills, proficiency in other languages would be a bonus
• Pro-activeness, demonstrated effective decision-making skills and can work with limited supervision
• Ability to plan, prioritize and thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment and effectively work in a team environment and collaborate with other departments
• Follow safe work practices and abide by all safety rules and regulations
• Exhibit enthusiasm to continuous learning, high performance and have a demonstrated ability to learn and apply learned skills to related situations
• Proven solid work ethic and a high level of professional integrity
• Outstanding interpersonal and team communication skills
• Professional, friendly and positive work ethic
• You are an ambitious self-starter.
• Security / alarm installation training will be provided

Great to have's

• Post-secondary education in electronics, computers / IT or similar is a significant asset
• Security Systems Technician Trades Qualified (TQ) certification is a significant asset

• Previous security / alarm installation experience is an asset
