Job Description

What is the opportunity:

RBC's Data Security Team – Automations & Engineering is responsible for identifying and detecting data loss incidents that might pose a risk to the organization. We design and create playbooks within our SOAR platform and provide enhancements to automate workflows for investigators. Our team is passionate about solving cybersecurity problems and developing innovative, customized solutions to improve the security posture of the organization.

We seek a candidate eager to understand complex problems and craft bespoke solutions. The ideal candidate will be analytical, creative, inquisitive, and willing to challenge ideas and bring new perspectives.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and optimize SOAR platform for incident response and automation workflows.
• Create, test, and refine playbooks to automate incident response procedures.
• Troubleshoot issues with development teams and assist in implementing fixes.
• Collaborate with other security teams to enhance organizational security and provide expertise.

Qualifications

Must-have:

• Proficiency in Python; knowledge of R and C# is a plus.
