Job description

Our Winnipeg-based client requires a Senior Scrum Master to join a large inflight business transformation program.

The Scrum Master serves as a facilitator, coach, and leader for agile development teams, ensuring that Agile principles and practices are followed to deliver high-quality products and solutions. This role is instrumental in fostering a collaborative environment, removing obstacles, and promoting continuous improvement within the Scrum team. The Scrum Master works closely with the Product Owner and development team to optimize productivity, streamline processes, and deliver value to stakeholders.

This position requires a blend of leadership, facilitation, coaching, and technical expertise to ensure that Agile principles and practices are embraced, and organizational objectives are achieved.

Start : July 2025

Duration : 6-month initial term followed by up to 18-month renewal

Required Qualifications Or Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field;
• Agile certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP).
• 10 years proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, with a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, frameworks, and practices.
• Strong facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
• Knowledge of software development processes, tools, and best practices.
• Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on delivering results.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and requirements.
