Zusammenfassung

Qualus is seeking a Senior SCADA Engineer in Canada to join the Protection & Control team. You will lead automation designs for high-voltage substations and guide projects from concept through commissioning, mentoring junior engineers along the way.

You will work on projects from 12 kV to 500 kV, interfacing with utilities and renewable clients, and contributing to system integration, FAT/SAT, and field troubleshooting.

Qualifikationen

• 8–15 years of utility-focused automation, protection, control, and metering engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Eligibility for (or current) P.Eng. registration in Canada.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical leadership to engineers and designers delivering automation, protection, control, and communications systems for high-voltage substations.
• Serve as Technical Lead on assigned projects, guiding automation designs from planning through commissioning.
• Develop and review automation philosophies and application documents.
• Develop and review RTU, PLC, HMI, SCADA, and communications system configurations and documentation.
• Lead or participate in FAT, SAT, and field inspections.
