Our valued client is looking for a Senior SAP Fiori Consultant to support implementation, customization, SOP creation, training, and knowledge transfer.
The successful candidate will be required to perform work on-site in Ottawa, ON.
Tasks include:
- Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements, enhanced worker productivity by building leaner processes, and ensure seamless integration with existing SAP systems
- Develop and implement comprehensive training plans designed to enhance the skill sets of the team
- Identify specific areas requiring improvement or additional support
- Incorporate regular assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions and resources, ensuring alignment with industry’s best practices and organizational objectives
- Conduct a thorough analysis of existing data systems, collaborate with stakeholders to understand operational needs, and develop a phased migration plan that incorporates best practices and industry standards while creating training documents
- Update SOPs and training documents to ensure they are easy to comprehend.
- Utilize analytical tools to meticulously evaluate client data, pinpointing key trends and identifying areas for enhancement in operational processes
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate findings into actionable insights that drive efficiency and effectiveness, ultimately contributing to improved client satisfaction and business outcomes
- Maintain a focus on continuous improvement by leveraging industry’s best practices and methodologies, ensuring recommendations are both innovative and aligned with organizational goal
- Phase 1:
- Identify areas for process optimization, and implement best practices tailored to client requirements
- Review current state with subject matter experts (SMEs) and map out a detailed flow chart
- Phase 2:
- Focus on enhancing system efficiency, this objective entails conducting thorough analyses to pinpoint areas of latency or resource bottlenecks within the SAP environment
- Discuss and map out future state with subject matter experts (SMEs)
- Phase 3:
- The primary objective is to assess and analyze system performance metrics consistently, delivering comprehensive reports to relevant stakeholders on a regular basis.
- These reports should encapsulate key performance indicators, insights on system efficiency, potential bottlenecks, and recommendations for optimization.
- Emphasis should be placed on leveraging industry-standard tools and methodologies to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- The outcome should facilitate informed decision-making and align with organizational goals, while also fostering proactive maintenance and enhancement of system functionalities.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Develop and conduct user training sessions and workshops.
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations for assessing new projects and initiatives.
- Includes defining the project scope, breaking down tasks using a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), estimating task durations, and creating a visual timeline like a Gantt chart.
- The schedule also covers resource allocation, risk management, and communication strategies.
Must have:
- 5+ years' experience with:
- SAP Fiori
- SAPUI5
- Gateway
- OData services
- ABAP
- HTML
- Power BI
- CSS
- SAP Hana
- Experience creating SOPs
- Experience providing user training
- 4 Year University Degree in computer science, computer programming and analysis, or equivalent
- SAP Certified Development Associate - SAP Fiori Application Developer, or equivalent
- Accreditation Validating Business Transformation
