Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Senior Technical Architect specializing in SAP Platforms & Integration to lead architectural decisions for complex SAP programs. You will define scalable, secure architectures aligned with Clean Core and cloud-first principles, guiding delivery teams across SAP and non-SAP landscapes.

You will mentor senior engineers, drive architectural governance, and collaborate with security, infrastructure, and data teams while traveling to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or completion of a college program in a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in SAP technical architecture, platform architecture, or enterprise integration.
• Proven expertise in architecting complex SAP solutions across S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Fiori/UI technologies, integration, data, and security layers.
• Advanced integration architecture skills across SAP and non-SAP systems, including API-led, event-driven, and hybrid patterns.
• Hands-on experience defining extensibility models aligned to SAP Clean Core strategy.
• Strong proficiency with SAP BTP services: Integration Suite, API Management, Event Mesh, Cloud Foundry, and Kyma.
• Eligibility for Secret Security Clearance
• English is required for this position as role will interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries.

Responsibilities

• Architectural Ownership: Lead end-to-end technical architecture for SAP programs spanning multiple technologies and platforms.
• Target-State & Transition Architectures: Define target-state, transition, and solution architectures aligned with SAP Clean Core and cloud-first strategies.
• Integration Architecture: Design scalable integration frameworks across SAP and non-SAP systems using APIs, event-driven, and middleware patterns.
• Standards & Governance: Establish architectural standards, principles, and guardrails across delivery teams.
• Technology Evaluation: Assess and select technologies, frameworks, and tools based on performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Landscape Design: Design SAP landscapes for development, testing, production, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• Mentorship: Mentor senior developers and technical leads, offering guidance on complex design and implementation challenges.
• Travel to client sites as required.

Role Overview:

As a Senior Technical Architect specializing in SAP Platforms & Integration, you bring extensive experience in designing, governing, and delivering complex SAP-centric enterprise architectures. You serve as an architecture authority, setting technical standards, making pivotal design decisions, and guiding delivery teams through multifaceted technical landscapes. Your mandate is to define solutions that are not only scalable and secure but also future-ready, aligning with business strategies and SAP’s Clean Core and cloud-first principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architectural Ownership: Lead the end-to-end technical architecture for SAP programs that span multiple technologies and platforms.
• Target-State & Transition Architectures: Define target-state, transition, and solution architectures in alignment with SAP Clean Core and cloud-first strategies.
• Integration Architecture: Design scalable integration frameworks across SAP and non-SAP systems using APIs, event-driven, and middleware patterns.
• Standards & Governance: Establish architectural standards, principles, and guardrails; ensure strict adherence across all delivery teams.
• Technology Evaluation: Assess and select technologies, frameworks, and tools based on performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Landscape Design: Design SAP landscapes for development, testing, production, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• Architectural Governance: Provide oversight through design reviews, technical decision forums, and quality gates to maintain architectural integrity.
• Collaboration: Work closely with security, infrastructure, and data teams to ensure holistic architectural alignment.
• Solution Support: Support solution design in early phases, including feasibility studies, proof-of-concepts, and architecture validation.
• Mentorship: Mentor senior developers and technical leads, offering guidance on complex design and implementation challenges.
• Other: Travel to client side will be expected. Ability to work effectively across geographically distributed teams

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or completion of a college program in a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in SAP technical architecture, platform architecture, or enterprise integration.
• Proven expertise in architecting complex SAP solutions across S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Fiori/UI technologies, integration, data, and security layers.
• Advanced integration architecture skills across SAP and non-SAP systems, including API-led, event-driven, and hybrid patterns.
• Hands-on experience defining extensibility models aligned to SAP Clean Core strategy.
• Strong proficiency with SAP BTP services: Integration Suite, API Management, Event Mesh, Cloud Foundry, and Kyma.
• Deep understanding of non-functional requirements: performance, scalability, availability, and security.
• Experience producing architecture documentation and technical standards.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong decision influencing skills and soft skills to establish trustworthy client relationships.
• Eligibility for Secret Security Clearance
• English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language. Annual Salary Range: $99,450 to $209,900
