Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Sanitation Technician for our client in Kimberley. The role focuses on maintaining high sanitation standards across facilities, performing advanced cleaning tasks, operating specialized equipment, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will be meticulous, hands-on, and capable of mentoring junior staff, contributing to a safe, hygienic workplace, and supporting continuous improvement of sanitation processes.

Formación

• Senior sanitation experience in cleaning roles, preferably with leadership or mentoring duties.
• Proficient with cleaning machines and cleaning agents.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation procedures and health and safety regulations.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Perform advanced cleaning and sanitation duties according to protocols.
• Operate and maintain specialized cleaning equipment.
• Conduct routine sanitation inspections to ensure standards are met.
• Identify and report maintenance or repair needs for cleaning equipment and facilities.
• Ensure safe handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals and waste.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Assist in training and mentoring new or junior staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of supply areas and equipment storage.
• Respond promptly to sanitation-related issues or emergencies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of sanitation processes.
