What You'll Be Doing

Technical Leadership for AI-Driven Solutions

  • Manage and build AI-driven Salesforce solutions, including Agentforce, Einstein, LLM-enabled workflows, automation, and predictive or recommendation features.
  • Develop AI-enabled capabilities using Apex, Flow, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, APIs, custom objects, data models, permission sets, and integration services.
  • Oversee architecture and engineering decisions to ensure AI solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned to enterprise standards, responsible AI, and least‑privilege access.
  • Translate business opportunities into technical designs, prototypes, and production‑ready Salesforce, API, data, automation, and AI solutions.
  • Guide teams through design, Apex and Flow development, code review, testing, release, deployment, and support of AI‑enabled solutions.
  • Evaluate and operationalize emerging AI technologies, Salesforce AI capabilities, APIs, and integrations that improve productivity, scalability, and business value.

Integration, Data Architecture & Platform Engineering

  • Partner with data engineering to support Salesforce data pipelines and ensure APIs, data models, permissions, integrations, and platform services securely consume enterprise data for AI‑enabled workflows.
  • Define data models, custom objects, metadata, automation, and integration patterns for AI workflows, real‑time data access, model connectivity, and scalable Salesforce delivery.
  • Ensure data and integration designs support secure, governed, reliable AI use, including access controls, data quality, privacy, and least‑privilege permissions.
  • Recommend Salesforce capabilities, API patterns, data services, and architecture approaches that improve AI performance, maintainability, scalability, and business value.

Platform Engineering and DevOps

  • Support Salesforce change management, including release planning, environment strategy, deployment readiness, impact assessment, rollback planning, and environment coordination.
  • Improve Salesforce DevOps practices, CI/CD, source control, automated testing, code quality checks, metadata deployments, and release governance.
  • Set development standards for Apex, Flow, LWC, APIs, integrations, configuration, and AI‑enabled platform capabilities.
  • Use AI‑assisted automation to improve update analysis, testing, documentation, release notes, regression review, and operational support.

Other

  • Contribute to our culture of diversity, inclusion, belonging and equity (DIBE) by ensuring that all staff feel represented, valued, and heard across all aspects of their identity, including gender, age, religion, ethnicity, nationality, race, and sexuality.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Salesforce development experience in complex enterprise environments, including technical leadership across solution design, development, integrations, and releases.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong Salesforce development expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, Flow, asynchronous processing, and declarative automation.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, security, APIs, integration patterns, and platform services.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications and services using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and secure integration practices.
  • Hands‑on experience with Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD, source control, automated testing, release management, and environment governance.

  • Experience in nonprofit, fundraising, healthcare, or other mission-driven organizations is an asset.
