Senior Salesforce Developer – Financial Services Cloud

Location Address : Toronto

Hybrid (1 day / week on Wednesday. might change to more days in future)

Contract Duration : ASAP - 02 / 13 / 2026 with high possibility of extension

Business group : The CRM Global Technology Applications team supporting Global Banking & Markets Wholesale clients

Project : We are embarking on a Salesforce project to digitize and integrate systems along the Client Lifecycle for wholesale banking. You will be responsible for working with consultants and business stakeholders to design and build the workflow and system integrations required. You will remove barriers throughout the project enabling the development and deployment of quality solutions that meet these requirements.

Responsibilities :

• The team is looking for an experienced Salesforce developer that is well versed in all facets of the Financial Services cloud, acting as a major contributor for solutions, workflows, data models and leveraging best practices to design, test, implement and support the solution.
• Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met.
• Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment.
• Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner.
• Must be comfortable working in an org with complex sharing rules and working with vendors to support managed packages.
• Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies.
• Supports one or more highly complex business processes.
• Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.

Must Have Skills :

1. 10+ years software development with 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development and deployment

• Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and SoQL, and understanding of SFDC and ability to implement applications across the Salesforce environments such as Force.com

2. Completed at least 2 large scale integration projects using Salesforce

3. Recent experience with Lightning development, LWC Framework, Batch Processing, Process Builder, SFDC Web Services & APIs, Test Coverage Classes and custom objects

4. 3 + years’ experience working with SOA

5. Experience with agile teams – understanding the mindset of working in an agile environment very important

Nice-To-Have Skills :

• Experience in the capacity as a lead developer
• You have in-depth knowledge of SOAP and RESTful integrations
• Capital markets and global banking experience is an asset
• Financial Services cloud experience is an asset (not a priority but appreciated if in addition to the above)

Salesforce Certifications - Salesforce Developer / Consultant / Architect are required (please include link in submission)

Best vs Average : Need to be able to provide technical solutions to meet user needs. Strong candidates would currently be working in Salesforce and have a variety experience with financial industry workflows.
