Job summary

Virtusa is seeking a Senior Salesforce Backend/API Developer in Toronto to design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs on the Salesforce platform. The role focuses on Experience Cloud implementations, case management enhancements, and CI/CD-driven deployments within a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

You will work with tools like Agentforce, Prompt Builder, and Einstein, delivering scalable solutions while ensuring best practices and high quality code.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience with Apex, LWC, and the Salesforce platform.
• Experience with 2-3 implementations of Experience Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of Case Management and tools like Agentforce, Prompt Builder, and Einstein.
• Proficiency in VS Code, SFDX, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Salesforce experience is a deal breaker.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs on the Salesforce platform.
• Implement and manage Experience Cloud solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Utilize Salesforce tools such as Agentforce and Prompt Builder to enhance case management processes.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software development.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
