Senior Sales Manager to drive growth and lead a highly ambitious software sales team

Our large, enterprise client is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to drive growth and lead a highly ambitious software sales team.

This is a permanent, full-time employee position with a competitive salary, benefits, and cultural perks offered! The successful candidate will be based in Calgary, working in a hybrid model (3 days in the office) and should be comfortable traveling frequently to Edmonton as required.

Must-Haves:

  • Proven success in sales with a minimum of 7+ years of experience in sales and leadership (direct or indirect)
  • Experience in software sales, especially within the payrolling industry
  • Proficiency with CRM software and sales analytics tools
  • Results-driven with a focus on achieving sales targets and business growth
  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal teams and external clients
  • Ability to analyze sales data to identify trends, evaluate performance, and make data-driven decisions

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience working with small to mid-sized clients
  • Ability to establish and manage key sales initiatives aligned with company objectives
  • Proven track record of exceeding quarterly and annual quotas through territory analysis, forecasting, and strategic prospecting
