The Role :

As a Senior Sales Engineer (Strategic Accounts), you will partner with Strategic Account Executives to drive enterprise sales, combining technical expertise with business acumen to craft solutions and win deals. You will lead technical customer conversations, translate complex requirements, deliver demos, and support pilot evaluations.

You will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring technical alignment and supporting commercial strategies. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, has excellent communication skills, and can influence decision-makers across technical and business functions. This role reports to the SVP, Customer Experience, and collaborates with Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Support.

What You'll Be Doing :

  1. Partner with Account Executives during sales to provide technical insight and guidance.
  2. Manage the pre-sales process, including discovery, demos, and pilots.
  3. Deliver tailored demos connecting Nitro's platform to client needs and ROI.
  4. Support pilots with configuration, onboarding, and troubleshooting.
  5. Explain complex product features to diverse stakeholders.
  6. Collaborate with Product and Engineering to relay customer feedback.
  7. Coordinate with Support and Customer Success for smooth transition post-sale.
  8. Assist with RFPs, documentation, and security reviews.
  9. Stay informed on Nitro's platform and competitive landscape.

Success Criteria :

  1. Translate business objectives into solutions and demonstrate value.
  2. Build trust and influence diverse stakeholders.
  3. Manage large assessments and complex systems effectively.
  4. Communicate confidently and persuasively in customer meetings.
  5. Lead technical discussions with IT and strategic sales teams.
  6. Manage multiple pre-sales engagements efficiently.
  7. Collaborate internally to facilitate deals.

Requirements :

  • 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role within enterprise SaaS.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure: Windows, Azure, Active Directory, SSO/SAML, REST APIs.
  • Experience with SaaS integrations, cloud deployment, and pilots.
  • Knowledge of digital workflows, PDF tools, or eSignature platforms is a plus.

Nice to Have :

  • Experience with PDF tools, DMS, or managed print services.
  • Understanding of eID, digital signatures, and compliance in regulated industries.
