Responsibilities

Reporting to the Store Manager, the Sales Manager will have the following responsibilities:

  1. Maintain excellence in store merchandising, detail, and customer service
  2. Conduct hiring, scheduling, and training of the sales team
  3. Develop employees through goal setting, coaching, and formal performance appraisals
  4. Implement all sales programs
  5. Increase delivered sales, closing ratio, and "Return On Customer"
  6. Achieve sales and margin targets while controlling expenses
  7. Organize and plan promotions and marketing events
  8. Lead daily team talks and sales meetings
  9. Understand, implement, maintain, and ensure compliance with all Brick Group policies and procedures
  10. Community involvement
Qualifications
  1. High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is an asset
  2. 2 or more years of customer service or sales experience
  3. Previous retail supervisory or senior associate experience is an asset
  4. Proven track record in customer service, operations, and merchandising
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  6. Highly developed problem-solving skills
  7. Good time management skills and work ethic
  8. The ability to promote an extreme level of excellence and pride in customer service and store detail
  9. Flexibility to work any shift, including evenings and weekends, as required
