As an Employee Benefits Senior Sales Advisor with HUB International Ontario, you will be at the forefront of providing peace of mind to clients in the small to middle-market segment. Your main responsibility is origination—building security, trust, and opportunity from the first contact. You will seek out potential clients and establish long-term partnerships. What You’ll Do

  1. Strategic Market Expansion: Identify and secure new sales opportunities within the Employee Benefits and Retirement division.
  2. Client Leadership: Lead initiatives for firms with over 100 employees, understanding their benefit needs.
  3. Product Mastery: Keep updated on EB&R products to offer relevant solutions.
  4. Cross-divisional Synergy: Collaborate with Property & Casualty teams for mutual goals.
  5. Visionary Planning: Work with senior management to set aligned goals.
  6. Sales Analysis & Strategy: Regularly review and refine your approach using team insights.
  7. Building Trusting Relationships: Nurture relationships with prospects, clients, and industry contacts.
  8. Integrity in Action: Maintain high compliance standards.
  9. Team Alignment: Coordinate with regional leaders for unified business acquisition efforts.

What You’ll Need for Success

  • Valid LLQP License; EB designation (e.g., CEBS, GBA) is a plus.
  • 3+ years of relevant EB&R sales experience.
  • Deep understanding of the Canadian insurance landscape, including industry trends and carrier products.
  • Proven ability in new business origination with a strategic outlook.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with clients and industry partners.
  • Ability to collaborate within diverse teams.
  • Commitment to staying updated on market and regulatory changes.
  • Excellent communication skills for explaining complex EB&R concepts.
  • Analytical skills to interpret sales data and adjust strategies.
  • High ethical standards and professionalism.
  • Resilience and adaptability to industry shifts.
