Job summary

ROZOR in Hamilton, Ontario, is seeking a Robotics Software Lead to drive the development of our ROS 2 robotics platform. You will architect, implement, and maintain ROS 2-based software for autonomous robots and lead sensor integration across LiDAR, cameras, and IMUs.

You will mentor engineers, set best practices, and collaborate with hardware, autonomy, and cloud teams to deliver end-to-end capabilities in real-world clinical and industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Robotics, CS, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 4+ years building robotics software (AMRs or service robots).
• Deep ROS 2 expertise, including rclcpp and lifecycle nodes.
• Strong C++ (preferred) and Python skills.
• Experience with sensor integration (LiDAR, IMUs, depth cameras).
• Hands-on experience with navigation, SLAM, or sensor fusion.
• Solid understanding of kinematics, motion control, and real-time systems.
• Strong debugging and system architecture abilities.
