Job summary

Banner Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, WY seeks an Associate Director RN for Women’s & Infant Services to lead L&D, postpartum, nursery, pediatrics and oversee clinical operations and staffing. This full-time role includes on-call rotation and reports to the WIS leadership team.

The position requires a BSN or MSN, active RN license, BLS certification, and at least two years of clinical management experience; Master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN or MSN required for all new hires; BSN required for internal transfers/promotions within 6 months of transfer/promotion.
• Requires current RN license in state of practice and BLS certification.
• Two years of clinical management experience relevant to patient population; knowledge of specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Manages and facilitates patient-centered nursing care for designated patient populations and real-time clinical support for staff and physicians.
• Leads quality and process improvement initiatives and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Oversees communication of system, regional, facility and department initiatives.
• Manages operational and capital budgets and resources.
• Develops staff leadership and coaching; supports career development.
• Oversees staff selection, orientation, onboarding and retention.
• Manages large single unit or multiple clinical units to ensure excellent patient care.
