PhD in a related field and four (4) years of relevant experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
A team effort in this laboratory focuses on isolation of islet cells from human pancreata and experimentation on methods to support long-term maintenance of transplanted islet cells in vivo. The Senior Research Scientist will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day experimental activities related to research projects and isolation of islet cells for transplant. The position will be responsible for organization and analysis of collected data. This position also will have a high degree of independence in an innovative and creative research environment that emphasizes scientific rigor.
Target Compensation Minimum: 67,035.00
Target Compensation Maximum: 100,553.00
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
