Job description

  • Employment Type: Part-Time (3 days/week) Fixed Term until May 2027
  • Remuneration: $155K - $178K + 17% superannuation, depending on experience (Level C)
  • Location: UNSW Kensington Campus (hybrid work model)

    About the role :

    The Senior Research Fellow (Level C) will contribute independently to research efforts, demonstrate leadership, and support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health research funding.

    This position is funded until May 2027, requires 3 days per week with flexible days, and is hybrid (not fully remote).

    Who You Are :

    • A PhD in biomedical health or related discipline, with extensive research experience
    • Commitment to up-to-date discipline knowledge, especially in Indigenous health contexts
    • A proven research track record with peer-reviewed publications and successful grant applications
    • Research leadership skills, including mentoring and managing research initiatives
    • Experience working across disciplines and sectors
    • Advanced skills in manuscript writing, grant submissions, and developing accessible summaries
    • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
