Reporting to the Associate Chief of Data Science, the Senior Engineer will work in a multi-disciplinary team to build an enterprise-wide integrated informatics platform that will enable the seamless, secure and compliant exchange of hospital and research data. This work will maximize the efficient flow and exchange of clinical and research data within our organization to ensure our ability to deliver on strategic commitments, including becoming a learning health system and advancing precision health.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Engineer to support the design, development, and maintenance of a research data infrastructure platformin collaboration with diverse teams across the hospital including research, strategy, and information management. This role is pivotal in building a centralized metadata repository for research studies and developing scalable pipelines for data linkage and de-identification. The Senior Research Engineer will work collaboratively with various teams across the hospital, including researchers, clinicians, strategy, and information management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database architecture, data governance, privacy-preserving technologies, and legal and ethical research frameworks.
