Position overview

We are seeking a Senior Recruiter to join our Toronto team, specializing in recruiting experienced engineering talent for the power generation, transmission, and distribution sectors. The role involves headhunting professionals for permanent positions in Ontario's electricity sector, working with a dedicated client relationship management team to deliver quality candidates.

Responsibilities

1. Recruitment of experienced engineering professionals for permanent roles in power generation, transmission, and distribution.
2. Manage a busy desk, handle multiple searches, and work independently.
3. Collaborate with the client relationship team to onboard and close roles.
4. Build and maintain relationships with key industry players such as EPCs and consulting firms.

Qualifications

1. At least 2 years of permanent recruiting experience in an agency environment.
2. Experience recruiting technical professionals in the engineering sector.
3. Understanding of the talent landscape in Ontario’s power ecosystem.
4. Legal authorization to work in Canada.
