Job Description
Senior Associate, Recruitment Services
Purpose of Position
The Senior Recruiter is a member of the Recruitment Services Team. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role is responsible for contributing to successful contract and permanent placements by working with candidates in all stages of the recruitment cycle and Elby’s recruiting process. The Senior Recruiter works directly with clients and their positive attitude and friendly demeanor works to create a positive candidate experience.
Responsibilities
- Managing search assignments with clients from start to finish which includes:
- Presenting candidate profiles to clients providing detailed explanations as to why the candidates were selected
- Working with candidates and clients through the interview process; identifying areas of concerns and working with both sides toward the desired outcome
- Negotiating favourable employment terms for candidate and clients
- Completing candidate references, assessments, and background checks
- Screening resumes from the Recruitment Inbox and Internal Job Portal then engaging new potential candidates in initial phone calls and video interviews
- Scanning resumes and profiles on Indeed looking for new candidates who are potential matches for current and future opportunities
- Engaging current and previous candidates through the phone, email and social media and managing candidate updates in Bullhorn
- Actively search profiles using LinkedIn Recruiter looking for new candidates who are potential matches for current and future opportunities
- Perform candidate searches in Bullhorn, LinkedIn and Indeed to help senior members of the team with active searches
- Maintain a positive customer friendly attitude while working with colleagues and candidates while contributing to a positive candidate experience and work environment
- Actively seek opportunities to improve processes, assist team members and drive results for the Recruitment Services team.
Qualifications
- College or University Degree
- 2+ years' experience working as a Recruiter as a corporate recruiter or with an agency
- Driven to succeed with a high sense of urgency and desire for accomplishment
- Enthusiastic demeanor and a desire to work with people to provide high levels of customer satisfaction
- Enjoys working in a collaborative environment and competitive industry
- Comfortable working with numerous systems including MS Office Suite and able to learn new systems quickly
