Job summary

Westbow Group of Companies in Canada is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst - Real Estate to act as a high-ownership finance partner for a defined real estate portfolio. You will lead monthly reporting, support capital and financing processes, and translate complex financial information into clear recommendations for ownership and lenders.

In this role, you will work on CMHC and conventional financing, maintain cash forecasts, and build robust financial models and scenarios to guide operating

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of progressive finance experience, ideally within real estate, development, property management, or another capital-intensive industry.
• CPA designation or active CPA candidacy is preferred.
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills, including proformas, cash forecasts, and scenario analysis.
• Experience with financing, lender reporting, covenant tracking, capital management, or portfolio reporting is an asset.
• Strong communication skills with the confidence to present financial insights and move decisions forward.

Responsibilities

• Lead financing processes from analysis through submission, including CMHC, conventional, bridge, and other structures.
• Own cash forecasting for the assigned portfolio and maintain liquidity visibility.
• Monitor covenant compliance, support lender relationships, and prepare bank reviews.
• Lead monthly reporting cycle from close to ownership delivery with variance analysis and commentary.
• Produce management reporting that clarifies performance and timing vs structural drivers.
• Serve as the primary finance partner to operational teams and provide timely financial guidance.
• Build and maintain proformas, financial models, business cases, and scenario analyses for decisions.
• Identify and escalate financial risks early, including covenant exposure and liquidity gaps.
• Support quarterly/annual reporting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
