My construction/ real estate client, is looking for a Senior Analyst to support the expansion of its growing platform. This position offers exposure across multiple facets of real estate investing, including acquisitions, asset management, fundraising, and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a solid foundation in financial analysis and deal execution within the real estate or private equity sectors, and is seeking an entrepreneurial setting with direct involvement in large-scale residential developments. The firm’s current portfolio includes several large residential developments in a major Canadian metropolitan area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain financial models for investment analysis, capital structuring, and ongoing performance tracking.
• Assist in the preparation of internal and external presentations for investment committees, partners, and capital providers.
• Collaborate with leadership in the evaluation of new acquisition opportunities.
• Monitor project timelines and budgets, coordinating with internal teams and third-party consultants.
• Support asset management initiatives, including performance reporting and investor communications.
• Interface with industry stakeholders including legal, finance, planning, brokerage, and lending professionals.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in real estate investment, real estate development, or private equity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting (Graduate degree or CFA designation is a plus).
• Familiarity with residential or mixed-use real estate projects is an advantage, but not essential.
• Proficiency with advanced Excel modeling and MS Office tools.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
