Job summary

Aon plc in Canada seeks a Senior Real Assets Consultant to advise institutional clients on real assets investments such as infrastructure, real estate, and natural resources. You will lead investment research, manage client relationships, and guide policy and portfolio construction with market outlooks.

You will develop strategic plans, perform manager due diligence, and contribute to business development, while coordinating multiple projects in a fast-paced environment within Aon’s Real Assets

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; CFA/MBA preferred.
• Five to ten years in private markets fund investing or related experience.
• Strong understanding of investment concepts, especially Private Markets.
• Deep knowledge and contacts within Real Assets.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Ability to autonomously manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Good judgment and decision-making with incomplete information.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver investment research area work and client projects without supervision.
• Serve as primary relationship manager for assigned institutional clients advising real assets strategy.
• Prepare and deliver client reports, presentations, and educational materials.
• Develop and present investment policy recommendations, portfolio construction strategies, and market outlooks.
• Lead research and recommendations for real asset investment opportunities.
• Identify new investment opportunities and present to Investment Committee.
• Lead all aspects of performance of existing investments.
• Provide leadership contributing to the success of the practice/research area.
• Identify and lead creative industry research projects and white papers.
• Drive internal and external business development initiatives.
• Contribute as a specialist consultant to RFPs and presentations for business development.
