Job summary

Hitachi Rail is seeking a Senior RAM Specialist to join our RAM team in Canada. You will report to the RAM Engineering Manager and collaborate across design teams to ensure RAM is integrated in system design, meeting contractual RAM requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical/Industrial Engineering or Computer Science.
5–10 years of experience in system architecture for complex RAMS-enabled systems.
Strong command of English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Provide RAM engineering expertise in CBTC system development and implementation.
Perform RAM design, analyses, modeling and simulation to verify reliability and safety.
Lead RAM activities for projects with support from RAM team members.
Perform FMECA/FTA analyses to identify critical failure points and recommend design improvements.
Prepare RAM Program Plans and participate in RAM-related design reviews and change requests.
