Job summary

Network Rail Consulting (NRC) in Canada is hiring a Managing Consultant—Operations & Maintenance on a permanent full-time basis. You will lead high‑quality advisory services across complex rail projects, coordinating with clients and NRC colleagues in Canada and abroad.

The role involves travel to Edmonton several days each month, with time split between Toronto offices and home. You will be part of a global team of rail professionals delivering practical, real-world outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong consultancy and advisory abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills.
• Broad understanding of rail operations, maintenance and asset management.
• Ability to advise across complex rail projects and client organisations.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Translate service requirements into practical maintenance plans.
• Coordinate across operations, maintenance, engineering and design teams.
• Lead consultancy proposals, defining scope, deliverables and budgets.
• Support系统 integration, testing and transition into passenger service.
• Review performance data to drive reliability and availability improvements.
