Overview

Take ownership of high-fidelity models and simulations for phased array and radar applications. Develop and integrate signal processing functions, conduct trade studies, guide architecture design decisions, and define requirements throughout the system development lifecycle, supporting RF and digital applications.

Responsibilities
  • Design RF circuits using simulation tools, generate BOM, and identify necessary components for testing.
  • Coordinate with layout engineers for PCB tape-out.
  • Tune and troubleshoot RF circuits to meet specifications.
  • Provide technical guidance to other engineers.
  • Identify and address technical bottlenecks early in development.
  • Understand and specify power supply, thermal, mechanical, and reliability requirements for RF components.
  • Contribute input on power, VSWR, and filtering requirements to system engineering.
  • Assess failure modes and assist in transitioning products from engineering to manufacturing, including writing ATPs and assembling RF circuits.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or STEM field
  • 5 years of experience in RF circuit design, tuning, simulation, and testing
  • Eligibility to access controlled US export technology (US Person status)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • MS in Electrical Engineering or Physics
  • 8+ years of research and design experience in RF components and systems
  • HFSS simulation experience, thermal considerations, PCB design, failure analysis, MMIC design, semiconductor experience, Load-Pull techniques, and product transition experience
  • Proficiency with ADS/AWR/SPICE and strong communication skills
  • Active DOD Secret Clearance

Salary Range

Radio Frequency Engineer III: $103,218.83 - $154,828.24 annually, commensurate with experience and location.
