Job summary

Connor, Clark & Lunn Investment Management (CC&L) seeks a Client Portfolio Manager, Quantitative Equity to blend institutional client coverage with deep expertise in quantitative investment strategies in Vancouver. You will work with institutional clients, consultants, investment teams and internal stakeholders to explain portfolio construction, factor exposures and model behaviour.

Qualifications

7+ years in institutional asset management or a related investment role.
Experience with institutional clients, consultants, pension plans, foundations or endowments.
Strong understanding of quantitative investment strategies, portfolio construction, factor exposures, risk and implementation.
Experience in a client-facing investment role with sophisticated institutional audiences.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior clients and consultants.

Responsibilities

Act as a senior investment and client-facing resource for Quant clients and consultants.
Develop trusted relationships and provide ongoing investment-focused coverage.
Explain quantitative strategies, portfolio construction, risk, attribution and implementation clearly.
Lead and participate in client meetings, investment reviews and consultant meetings.
Translate quantitative analysis into clear insights and recommendations for institutional audiences.
Coordinate client inquiries across investment, operations, product, legal and other teams.
Identify client needs and opportunities and communicate insights to leadership.
Support client retention and growth by deepening relationships.
