We have an opportunity for a Senior Quantitative Equity Analyst / Quantitative Equity Analyst to join our Portfolio Management team. Reporting to the Head of Research & Senior Portfolio Manager, you will :

  • Research and develop new factors, strategies and stock selection models
  • Explore new quantitative capabilities to enhance our alpha models and portfolio construction
  • Improve and maintain our ranking, portfolio-construction and attribution processes
  • Provide routine support to Portfolio Managers for managing multiple portfolios
  • Implement investment analysis efficiently and accurately in one or more programming languages
  • Process large structured and / or unstructured datasets to extract predictive signals
  • Present research and portfolio analysis results to key internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate and effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams on a day-to-day basis

WHAT WILL YOU BRING?

  • A minimum of 4 years of financial industry experience in a quantitative role
  • Degree(s) in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or a related discipline
  • Programming skills in Python and Excel / VBA
  • Demonstrated research or technical creativity while incorporating economic intuition
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in complex analysis
  • Understanding of financial statements and accounting concepts
  • Experience working with financial datasets and data vendors
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Nice to Have (preferred but not required)

  • Prior Quantitative Investing or Bottom-up Stock-selection experience is a huge plus
  • Experience in one or more : Factor Models, Econometrics, Machine Learning, Asset Pricing
  • Advanced Excel user a plus
  • CFA, FRM or related designation
  • Other programming knowledge a plus : R, Polars, Java, MATLAB, C / C++, etc.
