Senior Quality Engineer - Integrations and Billing Team

As we continue our product growth by adding new features and expanding globally, we're looking for a technical Quality Engineer experienced in risk-based, context-driven testing to help us build and evolve our DNSFilter application. You will play an integral role in testing complex, scalable solutions and occasionally support other R&D teams.

This is a full-time remote role, suitable for candidates in the US or Canada, working hours overlapping with Eastern Time, and capable of working remotely in a fast-paced SaaS startup environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with software testing of distributed SaaS applications
• Experience with testing & debugging cloud-based systems (AWS, Redis or similar, Chargebee/Stripe, 3rd party integrations)
• Strong analytical, communication, interpretation, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of SDLC related to quality assurance
• Experience working remotely with minimal supervision
• Proficiency with Postman, API testing, JavaScript, Playwright
• Experience with performance, load, and security testing
• Hands-on SQL experience
• Ability to work remotely with a collaborative mindset
• Availability to work hours overlapping with EST
• Legal eligibility to work in your country without sponsorship

Preferred Skills:

• Developing and maintaining test automation
• Setting up enterprise-level test labs
• Testing SSO, SAML, OIDC, 2FA, IAM
• Understanding network protocols, configuration, DNS
• Experience with Rapid Software Testing methodologies

What You Will Do:

• Study and understand the product and integration points to identify risks
• Address challenging, complex problems
• Experiment, test, validate, and analyze assumptions
• Test features from early-stage to end-to-end implementation
• Triaging, troubleshooting, and debugging issues
• Perform system-level testing, including performance and load testing
• Design and execute comprehensive test plans and cases
• Plan, estimate, and deliver on projects independently
• Write concise, actionable bug reports and documentation
• Communicate testing activities, status, and risks effectively
