Qualifications

About The Role

As a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist you will support programs and projects scopes for Quality aspects and perform reviews of multiple supplier and internal documents from Quality point of view. This is to ensure the Westinghouse requirements are maintained to meet the Westinghouse QA Program and the Customer requirements.

You will report to the Director, Quality Programs and be located at one of our Peterborough, Burlington or Kitchener, Ontario, locations. You will have a hybrid working arrangement of 2 to 3 days onsite per week.

Main Responsibilities

1. Support Proposal development from QA Point of view, including review of customer QA requirements against company QA programs and capabilities
2. Perform estimation of QA effort during Proposal Development process
3. Review Customer POs for conformance with Westinghouse proposal from QA point of view
4. Review Quality Level Categorization of Procurement specifications according to CSA N299.X
5. Review Procurement Documentation from QA point of view, for conformance to Standards, Codes, design and Customer contractual requirements
6. Verify that internal work scopes by Westinghouse Engineering, Products, and Manufacturing organizations meet the QA management system, Procedures, Codes and Standards, and Customer requirements.
7. Prepare procedures, QA Standards, Project Quality Plans

Qualifications

• University/College degree (Engineer or Technologist) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Technology.
• Minimum 4 years experience
